Hundreds of Perry-area children and adults attended Kids Fest 2024 Saturday on Railroad Street between the Perry Public Library and the Carnegie Library Museum.
Under partly cloudy skies, youngsters enjoyed balloons and bubble fun, mini golf, foam canon, dunk tank and many other favorites — adding up to three hours of family-friendly fun time.
A $1 lunch was on offer, cooked up by the Perry Firefighters Association, and the Perry Volunteer Fire Department had their heavy machinery open to inspection.
The Kids Fest was started in 2013 by longtime Carnegie Library Museum volunteer John Glass, who died July 8, 2015. The event kicks off the library’s summer reading programs.
