No injuries were reported Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a 2014 Buick Enclave, driven by Marilyn Y. Larimore, 84, of Creston, was northbound on Sumner Street when it turned west onto Prairie Street. Larimore turned too sharp and hit a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Corina J. Buchanan, 31, of Creston, who was eastbound on Prairie Street, stopped at the stop sign.
Larimore said she did not see the Jetta sitting there.
Damage to the Buick was estimated at $5,000 and damage to the Volkswagen was estimated at $6,000.
