Kathie L. Fouch (nee Hunt) passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, in Perry, Iowa, at the age of 79. She was born on July 4, 1944, in Perry to the late C. D. and Beulah Hunt.
Kathie is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Pat) Strain; grandchildren, Tyler (Kari), Tiffany, Garrett (Mariel) and Caleb (Meg); great-grandson, Deklan; twin sister, Karlie; and niece and nephews, Elizabeth (Devon/Dante), Patrick, Timothy and Randall (Kent).
Kathie was preceded in death by her father, C. D. Hunt; mother, Beulah Hunt; and brother, Kenny Hunt.
Kathie was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
She was a talented cosmetologist in Perry for the majority of her career.
She had a decorator’s eye and loved to spoil her grandchildren. Kathie was known for fiercely loving her family and had a passion for decorating beautiful Christmas trees, crafting, playing games with her family, reading and watching a good movie.
A private memorial service will be held to honor and remember Kathie. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
