SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Iowa Media Wire) – The Sioux City Explorers couldn’t keep up with the offense of the Sioux Falls Canaries, falling 13-2 to even the series with its I-29 rival.
The X’s had some momentum early, but once the Canaries offense started rolling, it couldn’t be stopped. Sioux Falls’ Spencer Sarringar had two home runs as the Canaries combined for 15 hits and 13 RBIs.
Sioux City (8-12) and Sioux Falls wrap up their three-game series tomorrow at The Birdcage with first pitch set for 4:05 pm.
