SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — SafePlace will be hosting its annual Golf Tournament this June.
SafePlace is a Sioux City-based private, nonprofit agency that gives survivors of domestic violence a place to receive assistance, support, and a sense of stability.
“We’re thrilled to host an event that’s all about fun for everyone, and all for a wonderful cause,” Executive Director Stephanie Pickinpaugh said. “The incredible support from our community has truly warmed our hearts. It’s a fantastic way to demonstrate our collective strength, making a difference while enjoying ourselves.”
The tournament begins on Monday, June 3 at noon at the Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes.
Teams of four can register online here. There will be entry fees.
