One person is in stable condition after being shot just outside Washington earlier this week.
At around 12:45 am Tuesday, the Washington County officials received a report of a disturbance at the 2700 block of Airport Rd.
At the scene, responders found one person had been shot in the abdomen. They were transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and are now in stable condition.
The incident is under investigation and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 319-653-2107.
