SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The 13th annual Bike SUX is returning to Siouxland this summer as a beacon of hope to the community.

On June 1, over 250 riders will ride their bikes starting from Caribou Coffee. The event was created to collect money for a growing need in the community: all proceeds will help the June E. Nylen Cancer Center’s renovations and expansion of their chemotherapy infusion and medically integrated dispensary.

“It’s a $2.3 million construction project, and we are trying to fund that with as many donations as possible,” marketing manager Christie Finnegan said. “We are very appreciative that the Bike SUX ride has chosen us to be who they will support this year.”
