
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Celebrate Iowa Wildflower Month with a walk through the woodland to view the diversity of spring wildflowers at the Fowler Forest Preserve.
Dawn Snyder, a local plant expert, will lead the walk. The trail is open to all ages and is free of charge.
The walk will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy walking shoes and be prepared to hike on the trails through the woodlands.
This event is part of Iowa’s Wildflower Month and is sponsored by Woodbury County Conservation and Loess Hills Wild Ones.
