Jefferson County Supervisors Call Special Meeting To Accept The Resignation Of Ambulance Director

The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors has called a special meeting for 8 am today to accept a resignation from Ambulance Director Brian Thomas.

Thomas has been director since last fall when the county made the move to start its own ambulance service. The board will then appoint an Interim Ambulance Director and discuss and consider an ambulance efficiency consultant.

Following those discussions, the board will consider delegating the 2023-2024 ARPA report to former supervisor Hamilton or another Supervisor or outsourcing
