SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — A document shredding event for seniors will be returning to Sioux City.
Shredtastic will take place at the Siouxland Center for Active Generations on Friday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The drive-thru event is for people 60 years and older and their caregivers.
The event provides an opportunity to shred personal materials to help prevent identity theft. It occurs every spring and fall in Sioux City, with the next Shredtastic happening on Sep. 20.
Pam Wurster, event organizer at the Connections Area Agency on Aging, and Kristina Yezdimer, program director at the Siouxland Center for Active Generations, were in the Iowa Media Wire 9 studio to discuss the event. You can watch the interview above.
