The Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department on January 25th responded to Redwood Avenue in Brighton to serve an arrest warrant to 31-year-old Thomas Hahn, who was wanted for violating his probation by Iowa Corrections.
According to Jefferson County Attorney Chauncey Moulding, the department was dispatched near 1:50 AM and Hahn was originally taken into custody without incident. Once he was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional facility Hahn began making threats to law center staff, resulting in him receiving 5 additional charges of harassment in the first degree.
Hahn is currently being held in the Jefferson County jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond.
