RAGBRI To Return To Southeast Iowa

RAGBRAI will be invading Southeast Iowa again this summer, making overnight stops in Ottumwa and Mt Pleasant for the 51st running of the event, scheduled to begin July 20.

Ottumwa will host riders Thursday, July 25, the 5th night of the ride, with Mt Pleasant on the 26th before the caravan makes its way to Burlington

The ride will begin in Glenwood, which is just south of Council Bluffs, then work its way to Red Oak, Atlantic and Winterset, Knoxville, Ottumwa, Mt Pleasant and finish at the Mississippi River in Burlington. Pass through towns along the route will be announced later this spring.

RAGBRAI was first run in 1973, and had made stops in Ottumwa 1984, 2000, 2009 and 2016.
