The Newton School Disrict has scheduled two public input meetings for next month…to address elementary school boundary changes. The changes are being made as the District moves from four to two elementary buildings. Those buildings will be an expanded and renovated Aurora Heights and Thomas Jefferson Elementaries. Aurora Heights will be a Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade school, while Thomas Jefferson will just have Kindergarten through 4th graders. At the February 12th and 13th public Input meetings…families can learn about the boundary changes and have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. School administrators says the same information will be shared at both meetings, which will be held at 5:30 in the evening at the EJH Administration Center at 1302 1st Avene West. The meetings will also be available to the public via ZOOM.
