Garrett N. Thomson, 20, of Creston, was taken into custody 3:19 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Hy-Vee parking lot on two Union County warrants for the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
No details were available.
Thomson was taken to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,300 cash or surety bond.

Lela A. Churchwell, 44, of Creston, was taken into custody 2:22 a.m., Jan. 22, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on four Union County warrants for the charges of: failure to appear on the original charge of disorderly conduct – loud raucous noise; failure to appear on the original charge of harassment, third degree; failure to appear on the original charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and and public intoxication and failure to appear on the original charge of public intoxication.
According to Union County District Court documents, Churchwell was scheduled to appear Nov. 28 for initial appearances and a pre-trial conference on the original charges but did not.
Churchwell was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $900 cash only bond and $300 cash or surety bond.
