PLYMOUTH COUNTY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — UPDATE (9:46 p.m.): A man was arrested and charged with kidnapping in the first degree after allegedly kidnapping his biological son, according to the Iowa Department of Public Safety.

PREVIOUS (8:34 p.m.): An official with the Iowa State Patrol told Iowa Media Wire 9 that the suspect in the standoff has surrendered peacefully.
The Iowa State Patrol Facebook page also states that the child has been safely located and that the Amber Alert has been canceled.

(6:05 p.m.): Several Siouxland law enforcement officers are in a standoff with the supposed suspect of an Amber Alert that had been issued Tuesday afternoon from Greene County, Iowa.
Authorities currently have a black Toyota Tacoma pickup wanted in association with that Amber alert pinned down east of Remsen.
The Amber Alert was for the disappearance of a child from Jefferson.
Law enforcement from several Siouxland agencies are on scene as well as the Iowa State Patrol.
An Amber Alert was issued around 3:30 pm on Tuesday for seven-year-old Bryson Lewis Duong.
Authorities believe he was abducted by Brandon Duong, 34, who was seen driving the Tacoma pickup.
Authorities have been working to secure the area.
Law enforcement pursued the black Toyota Tacoma they said is connected to the disappearance of the 7-year-old boy.

GREENE COUNTY, Iowa (WHO) — Law enforcement officers are asking Iowans to be on the lookout for a black 2015 Toyota Tacoma they say is connected to the disappearance of a child.
An Amber Alert was issued around 3:30 pm on Tuesday for seven-year-old Bryson Lewis Duong. Authorities believe he is with 34-year-old Brandon Duong in the aforementioned Tacoma with license plate number DFV202.
Bryson is 3′ 8″ tall and weighs 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat, snow pants and boots.
Brandon is 5′ 10″ tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who believes they have information about the disappearance of Bryson and the location of he and Brandon should contact police immediately.
