Cindy Peeler, chief clinical officer at the Dallas County Hospital, addressed a recent meeting of the Perry Lions Club.
Lion Gary Becker introduced Peeler, who described many of the services and specialty clinics available at DCH.
She also spoke about the network’s new Dallas Center clinic and the nurses training program offered at DCH in conjunction with Purdue University Global. The student nurses learn medical procedures on high-tech manikins that are digitally controlled to simulate problems that students will face in a hospital setting.
The dozen Lions in attendance thanked Peeler for her very informative program.
