National Weather Service schedules storm spotter training classes

Severe weather season is just around the corner, and the National Weather Service has announced the dates, times and sites for storm spotter training classes to educate the public on how to spot the telltale signs of potentially damaging storms.

The Johnson County classes are set for Wednesday, March 27^th at the Kirkwood Regional Center on Oakdale Boulevard in Coralville. Other classes are available Saturday, March 23^rd in Marion, and Monday, March 25^th in Muscatine.
