If Caitlin Clark scores 14 or more points against Northwestern on Wednesday, she will become the conference’s new all-time leading scorer. She will break Kelsey Mitchell’s record, who set it at Ohio State back in 2018. Clark is averaging 32 points per game this season.
Clark will also climb up to No. 2 on the all-time scoring list, surpassing Jackie Stiles and Mitchell along the way.
“It’s not something I’m after,” Clark said. “I just keep playing the game, keep having fun and this is what comes along with it. I’m just trying to enjoy every single second. I think we’re down to nine regular season games left and that’s hard for me to wrap my head around because the season goes so fast and I’m trying to enjoy every single second with my team.”
