SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa (KELO) — Investigators in Northwest Iowa are looking into what sparked a fire south of Boyden over the weekend.
The Sioux County Sheriff says it happened just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Crews arriving on the scene found a two-stall garage that was attached to a home on fire.
It quickly spread to the attic of the home.
The Sheldon and Hull Fire Departments were called in to help fight the fire.
Around 11,000 gallons of water were used during the fire.
The house was deemed a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
