Fairfield Man Arrested, Held On $10,000 Cash Only Bond 1

Last Thursday the Fairfield police department was dispatched to the 800th Block of West Burlington Avenue, just before 12:40 PM, after receiving a report of a male subject causing a disturbance outside of a residence. It was reported that the subject was armed with a bat.

When officers arrived, Fairfield resident 33-year-old Joseph Michael Siemers fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by responding officers. It was later discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest, and various narcotics were in his possession.

Siemers has been transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond.  This case is under active investigation and no other details are being released at this time. Below you can find a full list of charges.
