Jefferson County First Responders Respond To Accident On Highway 34

Jefferson County first responders’ responded to the scene of an accident involving a semi-truck early Monday morning. According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Jerry Marcellus, the accident occurred near 1:40 am when a Simi driver was traveling eastbound on Highway 34, a mile west of Batavia, lost control due to icy surface conditions. The semi then jackknifed and hit the median. No injuries or other damages have been reported.
