Coralville, IC firefighters respond to 30Hop blaze

Coralville and Iowa City firefighters responded to an early morning blaze at 30Hop.

Crews were called to the restaurant on East 2nd Street at 7am. Sprinkler activation kept the damage to a minimum, with the fire contained to a small corner of the kitchen. Fire crews remained on the scene until 8am.

The Coralville Fire Department says 30Hop is expecting minimal downtime. The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental but is still under investigation. The damage is estimated at around $15,000.
